Turn what you see changing around you into a song people can sing together.
In this half-day workshop, we start with something concrete: a dry riverbed, a hotter August, a place you remember differently. From there, we find the image, the words, and the chorus that carry the story.
What we work on
- Writing about a big subject through a personal, specific detail.
- Shaping that idea into verses and a chorus people can join.
- Learning from original songs and classics of the folk movement.
Everyone leaves with a draft of their own song and a method they can use again. No musical experience is needed.
